STYROSUN is a weatherable, high-impact styrenic polymer specially designed for use in outdoor application.

STYROSUN provides substantially improved ultraviolet(UV) color stability than UV-stabilized HIPS, while maintaining physical properites and toughness after UV exposure. The weather resistance of STYROSUN is achieved by combining UV-stabilization technology with an inherently UV-stable impact modifier.

STYROSUN is a significant improvement compared to UV-stable HIPS and ABS and an alternative to ASA, in applications requiring outdoor performance.

STYROSUN is widely used in the applications of Satellite dish covers, Weather measuring devices, Inset window frames on doors, Gardening accessories, Paintable shutters, Outdoor signs etc.

STYROSUN can be processed on extrusion, thermoforming and injection molding equipment with low processing temp. and no pre-drying. It is also easilly blended with color concentrates.
